The HePiao shape is celebrated for its harmony and simplicity—"He" meaning unity, and "Piao" evoking the elegance of a ladle. This teapot embodies balance, proportion, and the understated charm that defines classical Yixing forms.

Crafted using ancient hand techniques, each stroke, joint, and curve is shaped slowly and deliberately, resulting in a teapot with soft lines, excellent sealing, and an ideal water flow. At 150ml, it is perfectly sized for Gongfu brewing, offering both functional performance and collector-level refinement.

This HePiao Zisha Teapot is not merely a vessel—it is a gentle expression of classical aesthetics and quiet craftsmanship.

Yixing Zisha Teapot Introduction

Crafted in Yixing’s historic Dingshu Town, the Zisha teapot reflects a thousand years of Chinese tea culture and artisan tradition. Each piece is formed from naturally occurring purple clay—selected, refined, and shaped entirely by hand. Its distinctive colors, from vermillion to deep purple, arise purely from the clay’s own minerals, without any glaze or additives.

Zisha is prized for its purity and breathability. When brewing, the pot allows tea to release fuller aroma and softer, rounder flavor. Over time, it develops a gentle, natural sheen, becoming a personal companion that records every cup.

Simple to care for—rinse with warm water and let dry naturally—an Yixing teapot is both a functional tool and a refined collectible, appreciated by tea lovers and connoisseurs around the world.

The HePiao form occupies a special place in Yixing’s long teapot history: simple in silhouette yet rich in classical beauty. Its balanced proportions, smooth curvature, and naturally flowing lines have made it a favorite among scholars and tea practitioners for centuries.

This piece is crafted by a Double National-Level Craftsman, representing one of the highest recognitions in contemporary Chinese arts and crafts. His mastery preserves the profound traditions of ancient Yixing workmanship—hand-coiled construction, refined shaping, and meticulous finishing—all executed without mechanical shortcuts.

Using authentic purple clay (Zini), the artisan elevates the HePiao’s classical form into a timeless collectible. Each pot reflects both the cultural lineage of Yixing teaware and the maker’s personal dedication to craftsmanship, making it an heirloom-worthy teapot for collectors and connoisseurs.
