🌿 Why This Blend is Special
1. Authentic Geographical Indication (GI) Origins
We source our Shou Mei from Guanyang, Fuding—the high-altitude heartland of white tea.1 This is paired with authentic Quanzhigan tangerine peel from Xinhui, famous for its high essential oil content and superior aging potential.
2. The Art of Aging
Unlike fresh tea, this 2010 vintage has lost its "green" edge, transforming into a warm, "wood" natured tea. The 2012 Chenpi adds a layer of complexity that only time can provide. This tea is low in caffeine, making it gentle on the stomach and suitable for evening enjoyment.
3. Versatile Brewing: Steep or Boil
These 5g cakes are highly "infusion-resistant." You can brew them traditionally in a Gaiwan for 10+ rounds, or gently simmer (cook) them in a glass kettle to extract a deep, ruby-amber liquor that is exceptionally rich and nourishing.
