Japanese Hasami ware (波佐见烧) Tianmoku tea cups are used in traditional Kung Fu tea ceremony. Hasami ware uses pottery stones from the Amakusa region as raw materials. After handmade by craftsmen from the process of pulling, polishing, and glazing. Fired at a high temperature of 1300℃ for 18 hours, and then slowly cooled to form a stable structure. Tianmu teacups are characterized by their unique glaze color and patterns. The glaze is mainly black or brown, and the glaze layer transmits uniform and fine natural crystallized glaze patterns. The glaze of the Tianmu tea cups will change color depending on the viewing angle. Its glaze will shine with a colorful halo under the sun and at a certain temperature. The process and glaze are safe and non-toxic, and it can effectively purify water.
Tianmu tea cup is thick, which prevents hot liquid from scalding the hands and is not easy to break; the cup is comfortable to hold, the bottom of the cup is finely polished, flat, and the center of gravity is stable. The rim of the cup fits the lip, and the water flows smoothly. Compared with the porcelain cups, it can improves the taste of tea and soften the water quality.
