Discover the timeless majesty of elite Japanese hospitality with the Edo Kiriko Amber & Blue Chrysanthemum Tasting Suite. Comprising six masterfully handcrafted crystal tasting vessels, this luxurious collection unifies Tokyo's legendary Edo-period glass-cutting heritage with contemporary, table-side sophistication.

Each tasting cup in this six-piece suite features a striking, dual-tone overlay where deep, midnight sapphire blue yields to a warm, sunlit amber core. Perfectly miniaturized for precise pours, these functional works of art act as magnificent light-traps. They are flawlessly calibrated to elevate the visual clarity, aromatic notes, and shared experience of premium Japanese sake flights, single-malt whisky tastings, or traditional Gongfu tea services.

The Heritage of Edo Kiriko (江戸切子)

The origins of Edo Kiriko date back to 1834 in the late Edo Period (modern-day Tokyo), when a glass merchant named Kagaya Kyubei began engraving intricate patterns onto glass surfaces using emery sand.

Over nearly two centuries, the craft evolved by blending traditional Japanese motifs with advanced European glass-cutting techniques introduced during the Meiji era. Recognized officially by the Japanese government as a National Traditional Craft, Edo Kiriko is celebrated worldwide for its breathtaking geometric precision, sharp refractive clarity, and fluid interplay of light. Unlike modern mass-produced glassware, every authentic piece carries the unique soul, rhythm, and patience of a master artisan's hands.

It takes about 7-15 days to USA, Europe and Australia. To other countries, please refer to the actual logistics time or consult customer service.

For nearly two centuries, Edo Kiriko artisans have transformed glass into dazzling expressions of Japanese craftsmanship. Inspired by traditional motifs and geometric harmony, each piece reflects a dedication to precision, patience, and beauty.

This collection features a chrysanthemum-inspired pattern, one of Japan's most cherished decorative motifs. Long associated with longevity, nobility, and refinement, the chrysanthemum symbolizes elegance and enduring beauty. Through meticulous hand-cutting, the pattern radiates across the glass surface, creating a sophisticated interplay of light and texture.

Each cup is individually crafted and finished by skilled artisans. Subtle variations in color, cutting, and pattern details are natural characteristics of handmade glassware, making every piece uniquely beautiful.
